About Us
Craig and Nancy Merrill have owned and operated Sierra Counseling Center since 1997. They have been married for 44 years, have two children, Noah and Emily, and four wonderful grandchildren they call their "gids."

Craig received his Masters Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1992. He is licensed in the State of Nevada as a Marriage & Family Therapist since 1999, a AAMFT MFT Supervisor, a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor and Supervisor, and is a Domestic Violence Provider and Program Supervisor. He has accumulated experience since 1976, working with adults, families, adolescents, children, and couples to resolve problems relating to substance use, anger, domestic violence, relationship and communication issues.
